Meditations on Tragedies

Regarding the tragedies of last week, I don't have any insights that others haven't already expressed more clearly. However, this post inspired a response.

Slightly regrettable: The middle four words in your six-word summary act as an acrostic---ROFL.

Probably not what you intended. :)

It is hard to connect awareness with action when you are dealing with psychosis. The tragedy of last week was horrific & it should be a wakeup call to the mental health community that we have a lot to learn in order to assess and treat those that are walking time bombs. JP

When does awareness lead to action........

You should Know.....

When things that turn your stomach actually roost in your own nest...

We all talk the talk but until it actually happens to you...or close to you....

No-one actually does anything...
except moan and groan.......

@Cazzie: Interesting adjustment. Thank you.

@McGlk: Whoops. Fixed. Thanks!

@JP: You're right. I also think it's a wake-up call for the rest of us when we encounter psychosis in RL. According to some accounts, many people noticed strange behavior.

@'Snake: I suppose you're right, but wouldn't it be nice if we couldn't begin to changes things *before* they affected us personally?

Cheers, all!

Yes, I agree - if only people would stop being so apathetic and take action!
